Why Heritage Breeds?
Heritage breeds are more resilient, grow more slowly than mass-produced commercial breeds, and are raised more ethically with natural methods of health and longevity in mind. Heritage breeds support resilient, regenerative farming by keeping more diverse healthy genetics of livestock that are less vulnerable to disease and more adaptable to local natural environments as well as environmental stressors.
